This finished quilt will add brightness to any room in your home. There are 20  -- 10 1/2"  appliqued basket blocks. The flower colors are blue, red, pink and purple. The appliques were machine sewn to the white background fabric with a tiny zig zag stitch in matching thread colors. The sashing strip fabric is a blue posey on a white background. The fabrics used for the sashing squares are the fabrics used for the flower petals. The batting is  Warm and White 100% cotton batting. The backing fabric has white daisies on a blue background. The binding which was hand sewn is a blue floral fabric. This quilt was machine quilted around all the sashing strips and hand quilted around each flower basket. The fabrics are 100% cotton.
