About the same size as a quarter, it is a gorgeous deep purple with a floral design on the outside. I put up two pictures front, and back so you can see the detail. A wonderfully weathered piece, I've never found anything similar. Heck, it may be one of a kind! This is a recent find, and it sure put a big smile on my face. I love this stuff! Picked from one of our local beaches here on Passamaquoddy Bay in Downeast Maine it has been beautifully worn and frosted by time and our rough seas. A fantastic little treasure from the Beach Bums.
