The set stitch length will stay the same, regardless of the movement of the fabric. The machine is like new, mostly used for straight stitch sewing.  The BSR feature is wonderful, and makes quilting very simple!!! There are a lot of accessories that come with the machine---and to name a few: carrying case, instruction book, stitch card, knee lift, slide on bed extension, stand up accessory box, bobbins, and a variety of presser feet, including a walking foot & the BSR!!!
